Recent allotment photos testing my 24-120 Nikon lens
I’ve had my 24-120 f4 Nikon lens for quite some time. Yesterday I decied to put it on my Nikon D810 and see what the pictures looked like. So I went down to our allotment and took some randon photographs.
The lens is smalller and lighter than my 24-70 f2.8 I was using, and the images seem sharp enough for day to day use. So for carrying around on a daily basis I’m happy to keep the 24-120 f4 lens on my D810.
It will not accept my teleconverter but that is not massivley important.
For special projects and studio work I will, of course, continue to use my trusted trio of f2.8 lenses; 14-24, 24-70 and 70 to 200 (the 70-200 will accept my 1.7 teleconverter, TC-17eii)
