I am a retired teacher living in South Cheshire, England. I was born in Huddersfield, lived, trained and worked in Nottingham but worked mainly in South Cheshire and North Staffordshire. If you are looking for another Steve Butterfield this is not the site for you. (I know there are lots of other Steve Butterfields)
However, if you wish to contact me about anything you see on any of the pages there is a contacts page where you can send me an email. I will monitor this on a regular basis and reply to any polite and respectful messages I receive.
Family History:
My mother was Patricia Butterfield and my Father was Peter Butterfield. I was born in 1956 in Huddersfield. I lived in Fartown, Moldgreen and Dalton.
My mothers recorded maiden name was Davison. However, we now know that her birth mother was Phyllis Whiteley and birth father unknown. This is known through DNA links to another daughter of Phyllis and her son. I am aware of another of Phyllis Whiteley's children who is still alive and I would be grateful if they would make contact (see contact page and details).
